FINGERS PRESSURE
The typographic expression of the sign derives from the concept of pressure: the word Shiatsu is in fact composed of two ideograms which respectively mean pressure and finger. The last letter of the brand extends beyond the height of the X, leaving room for a furrow ideally traced by the pressure exerted by the operator's hands.

TACTILE ILLUSTRATIVE IMPRINTING
Illustrations are anything but ornamental in the Japanese tradition. In this project the different thicknesses and the clean lines allow to underline the tactile sensations of the surfaces. The leaves and floral subjects make it possible to visually evoke the complexity and delicacy of the natural structures in which life is articulated.

PRESSIONE DELLE DITA
L'espressione tipografica del segno deriva dal concetto di pressione: la parola Shiatsu è infatti composta da due ideogrammi che significano rispettivamente pressione e dito. L'ultima lettera del marchio si estende oltre l'altrezza della X lasciando spazio ad un solco idealmente tracciato dalla pressione esercitata dalle mani dell'operatore.

IMPRONTA ILLUSTRATIVA TATTILE
Le illustrazioni sono un elemento tutt'altro che ornamentale nella tradizione giapponese. In questo progetto i diversi spessori e la pulizia del segno consentono di rimarcare le sensazioni tattili delle superfici. Le foglie e i soggetti floreali consentono di rievocare visivamente la complessità e la delicatezza delle strutture naturali in cui si articola la vita.
